This is the web-site of Stewart Fist, a retired journalist, newspaper columnist, and documentary TV/film maker. It mainly just includes subjects that interest me at the time.

I also run the ScienceCorruption.com web site which deals mainly with documents from the tobacco industry archives which reveal the way in which global lobbying is carried on by major international industries and with allies in other global industries. This site was a repository of material acquired over many years by a number of investigative journalists.

The Electric-words.com.au site is also used by the Plateau Group, a small informal discussion group of Australian friends from the various media backgrounds who are interested in solving social problems. Currently our two main interests are:

• the need for small home development in Australian suburbs for the elderly, as a counter to the council sales of central suburban 'Common' land for speculative high-rise apartment developments and for purely commercial activities.
• also the design of small demountable "Homes for the Homeless ‐ built by the homeless".

Stewart Fist acts as coordinator and convenor of this group.
